Transcripts and Documentation

International students completing the program will be recommended to the Ontario College of Teachers, but each candidate will have to provide acceptable and appropriate immigration documentation that would allow the candidate to work in Ontario.

Please be advised that all students admitted into the Bachelor of Education program will need to submit their academic transcripts for evaluation to the Ontario College of Teachers. Applicants who have completed their education internationally are advised to plan ahead when ordering transcripts for Trent University and the Ontario College of Teachers, as obtaining these documents can be a lengthy procedure. Although every attempt is made to ensure applicants are eligible for certification, acceptance into a Bachelor of Education program does not guarantee that your credentials will be accepted by the Ontario College of Teachers.

The Education Students Association (ESA)

The Education Students Association (ESA) is the elected body representing the consecutive education students (full-time and part-time) at Trent University's School of Education and Professional Learning. The ESA strengthens the relationship among the consecutive education students with the goal of creating a sense of community during their brief but intense time at Trent University.
