James Struthers is still actively involved with an international and interdisciplinary research project, "Re-imagining Long-term Residential Care: an International Study of Promising Practices" which he has been part of as a co-investigator for the past 11 years.  Most recently  he has contributed to "Re-imagining Long-term Residential Care in the COVID-19 Crisis"
