Camp Enrolment

Registration for Excalibur Camp is available both online and in person at the Athletics Centre. You will need to create an account here in order to register. For a walk-through guide on creating an account click here.

Registrations will be opening on March 1st, 2023 - with regular updates being sent through our monthly newsletter. If you aren't already receiving these updates, please sign up for our Youth Programs newsletter here!

Registration:

Opens March 1, 2023 at 7:00am and is available on a first-come, first-served basis. We regret that we cannot accept registrations by phone or email. Registration must be completed via the online portal or in person at the Athletics Centre.

A confirmation and more information will be sent to camp families once the camp registration form has been processed.

Age:

Campers must be the minimum age by December 31st 2023 for each camp program age guideline listed.
Camp Fees: Full payment is due at registration. For any families experiencing financial barriers to camp, please contact the Camp Office for information about subsidies and support as soon as you can.
Equipment: Parents are expected to provide campers with a variety of items for their camp day (e.g. masks, hat, sunscreen, snacks, water bottle, lunch, running shoes, athletic shorts, one-piece bathing suit, and camp t-shirt). Our Getting Ready for Camp newsletter, which will be distributed by email, will provide a detailed list of required equipment and clothing. Until then, please contact the Camp Office if you have any questions about the necessary camp supplies.
Transfers:

Transfers between sessions may be granted if a request is made prior to the start of the original session and adequate space is available in the new session.

Refunds:
  • Withdrawals before June 1, 2023: Full refund less an administrative fee of 10%
  • Withdrawals after June 1 and 7 business days prior to the first day of camp: Refund of 50% less an administrative fee of 10%
  • Withdrawals 6 business days prior to the first day of camp: No refunds are available
Health & Personal Information:

The Health and Personal Information form must be completed and submitted on the first day of each session. Campers will not be permitted to take part in any camp activities without this completed form. Parents must also notify the Camp immediately of changes to their child's physical or emotional health, guardianship, or family contact information.

For campers that have individual requirements, learning plans, or additional needs, we will work with families on a case by case basis to ensure that we can support campers to have the best experience possible whilst at camp. We ask families to contact us and/or have an appointment so we can discuss their requirements and put support plans into place.

Campers must be toilet trained and able to use the toilet without assistance, unless there is a medical or diagnosed condition that requires personal care. We are able to accommodate campers having personal support workers to assist with this - please feel free to reach out and discuss this with us!

Parental Guardianship: Unless otherwise noted, the Camp will assume that both parents/guardians listed on the Application for Registration have full and unrestricted access to the camper(s) being registered and that both parents are made and kept fully aware of the application being made. If either parent-guardian attests there are any restrictions on other parents' or guardians' access to children before, during, or after the camp or the related registration information, the camp requires legal documentation to support this.
Personal Belongings: While we take many steps to help campers secure their personal belongings, the Camp cannot be held responsible for damage or loss of campers' equipment or supplies while at camp.
Other conditions:

Program dates are subject to change based on ongoing public health conditions. Additional conditions will appear in camp e-newsletters and the June information package.

If you have any other questions, feel free to contact us about camp at excaliburcamp@trentu.ca.
