We still have spaces left in swimming lessons and in a few of our Excalibur Camps throughout the summer!

Sneak Peek of Fall 2026 Registered Programs

Registration for our Fall 2026 Programs will open on Wednesday, August 5 at 7am. 

See below for what programs will be available for you to register in! Check back as we add more programs closer to registration day.

Youth Programs:

Fall 2026 Youth programs will begin the week of September 7. The information below is subject to change.

Mini Dance (Ages 4-6)Saturday Mornings

Introduce your little one to the joy of dance! Mini Dance is a fun and engaging program designed for children ages 4 to 5 to explore movement, rhythm, and music while building coordination, confidence, and creativity in a supportive environment.

Through imaginative activities, games, and simple choreography, participants will develop foundational skills in ballet, jazz, hip hop, and creative movement. Classes also encourage listening, following directions, teamwork, and self-expression while promoting balance, flexibility, and body awareness.

The program concludes with an informal showcase where dancers can share what they've learned with family and friends. Classes are led by an experienced instructor who is a current choreographer and dancer with the Trent Dance Team.

Jr. Dance (ages 7-9)Saturday Mornings

Junior Dance is the perfect program for young dancers looking to build confidence, develop new skills, and have fun through movement. Designed for children ages 7 to 9, participants will explore ballet, jazz, hip hop, and creative movement in a welcoming and supportive environment.

Through age-appropriate instruction, games, and choreography, dancers will improve coordination, balance, flexibility, rhythm, and musicality while developing teamwork and self-expression. Whether your child is new to dance or has previous experience, this program encourages creativity and personal growth at every level.

The program concludes with an informal showcase where dancers can celebrate and share what they've learned. Classes are led by an experienced instructor who is a current choreographer and dancer with the Trent Dance Team.

Jr. Rock Climbing (ages 7-12)Wednesday Evenings

Introduce your child to the exciting sport of rock climbing in a safe, supportive, and fun environment. This program teaches fundamental climbing techniques, equipment use, safety procedures, and problem-solving skills while helping participants build confidence, strength, balance, and coordination.

Led by experienced instructors, each session includes skill development, climbing challenges, and interactive games designed to encourage personal growth and achievement. Whether participants are brand new to climbing or looking to improve their skills, everyone is encouraged to progress at their own pace.

Jr. Dodgeball (ages 7-12)Sunday Mornings

Get ready to move, play, and have fun! Junior Dodgeball is a recreational program that keeps participants active through exciting dodgeball games and creative variations designed to keep everyone engaged.

Players will build coordination, agility, communication, and teamwork while developing confidence and sportsmanship in a positive, inclusive environment. No previous experience is required—just bring your energy, enthusiasm, and willingness to have fun!

Jr. NBA (ages 7-12)Saturday Mornings

Jr. NBA is a national youth basketball program designed to develop fundamental skills, sportsmanship, and a lifelong love of the game. Following an age-appropriate curriculum developed in partnership with Canada Basketball, participants will learn through engaging drills, games, and skill-building activities.

The program introduces athletes to the Canada Basketball development pathway while emphasizing teamwork, confidence, character development, and having fun. Whether participants are picking up a basketball for the first time or building on existing skills, Jr. NBA provides a positive and supportive learning environment.

Registration includes a reversible Jr. NBA jersey and a Spalding basketball.

Jr. Judo (Ages 7-12)Tuesday & Thursday Evenings

Judo is a fun and engaging martial art practiced in more than 200 countries around the world. This beginner-friendly program teaches participants the fundamentals of judo while promoting respect, discipline, confidence, perseverance, and self-control.

Classes focus on improving fitness, flexibility, balance, coordination, endurance, and basic self-defence skills through structured instruction and body-mind training. Participants will also develop valuable life skills while learning how to use their energy effectively in a safe and supportive environment.


Here at the Trent Athletics Centre, we offer a wide range of registered programs for all ages and experience levels. Whether you are looking to build skills, stay active, or try something new, our programs provide structured instruction in a welcoming and supportive environment.

Programs are offered throughout the year and include options for adults, youth, and aquatics participants. From beginner-level instruction to advanced skill development, there is something for everyone.
