Trent Athletics Centre offers a wide range of facilities for students, clubs, and community events. Booking requests must be made at least 10 days in advance. Availability may be limited in order to accommodate our regular programming.

Risk Management Requirements
External groups: Insurance is required for all rentals that take place at our facilities. Please submit liability insurance of at least $5 million naming the Board of Governors of Trent University as additionally insured. If you do not have insurance, you can purchase insurance through the University, please let us know and we will follow up with the next steps.
Student Clubs/Groups Only: You will have to submit an approved risk assessment before we can confirm bookings, information regarding the process can be found here.

Gymnasium
The gymnasium can be divided into two courts. Commonly used for activities such as basketball, volleyball and badminton. This large space can also accommodate special events.

Outdoor Spaces
Outdoor spaces available to book include the Justin Chiu stadium, an artificial turf field used for a variety of sports and two beach volleyball courts frequently used for recreational leagues.

Specialty Areas**
The Carol Love Rowing/Paddling tank is a premier training facility used by elite athletes and community members.
Our indoor rock-climbing wall is 28 feet high with routes varying in difficulty and terrain to challenge all level of climbers from novice to advanced.

Allan Marshall 25m Pool
The Allan Marshall Pool is a 25m, six-lane competitive pool. The pool is available for rent. Please contact aquatics@trentu.ca for more information on pool bookings.

Additional fees may apply for events requiring ancillary spaces (i.e. changerooms), setup/cleanup assistance, custodial services, staffing for bookings exceeding regular facility hours and/or larger events necessary for safety and security, Athletic Centre equipment, press box (scoreboard and/or videoboard) and stadium lights.
