External College, University & Professional Exams

The Centre for Academic Testing in Peterborough is available for invigilation of various academic, government or professional exams and/or certifications.

Trent University is also an accredited institution for invigilation of Athabasca University exams.

Booking Information:

To book an exam please contact the Centre for Academic Testing by emailing examcentre@trentu.ca or by phone at 705-748-1011 ext. 6135.

Fees (HST included):

Individual student booking

$60/exam (maximum 3 hours)
$100/exam (exams longer than 3 hours)

Group Bookings

Administrative / Sitting fee of $30 per student per exam
Proctor fee of $75 per group of up to 15 students.

Payment:

Payment can be made with cash or cheque payable to 'Trent University'. Payment is required on or prior to the testing date.

External Exam Testbooking Hours:

Individual Student bookings

Monday - Friday, 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
No weekend availability

Group bookings

Monday - Friday, 9:00 am - 8:00 pm
Weekend availability for an additional fee

During December and April Trent University formal exam periods, the CAT will invigilate external exams from 9:00 am - 10:00 pm on each exam day for individual student or group bookings.
