My research explores how cognitive processes shape the ways we perceive, learn, navigate, and interact with the world around us. I am particularly interested in attention, memory, and spatial cognition, with a strong focus on immersive virtual reality and simulation. Using behavioural and neuroscience methods, my work examines human performance in complex and dynamic settings, with applications to driving, education, and everyday behaviour.
My teaching draws on this interdisciplinary perspective, emphasizing engaging, research-informed learning and meaningful connections between psychological science and real-world experiences.
