Research interests

My expertise is in Quantitative Methods and Lifespan Cognitive Psychology. I use statistical models and large-scale datasets to study how and why cognition changes over life. My research explores:

  1. Quantitative techniques to model the dynamic process of cognitive aging (e.g. changepoint regression, factor analysis, and response variability)
  2. Quantitative techniques to process, analyze, and visualize very large-scale internet-based datasets
  3. Lifespan trajectories of complex cognitive abilities (e.g. event memory, executive functions, attention)
  4. Individual resilience factors for healthy aging and a lower likelihood of developing dementia (e.g. biological sex, exercise, education)
