Forensic Anthropology

Forensic Anthropology is the application of biological anthropology and forensic science to criminal investigations, mass disasters, and human identification cases. This highly specialized B.Sc. program equips students with the skills needed to analyze human remains and the contexts in which they are found, interpret forensic evidence, and contribute to medico-legal investigations worldwide.

Trent’s direct-entry professional Forensic Science program teaches core science in biology, chemistry, and anthropology, and integrates those topics with law and applied investigative practice.

A joint major in Forensics gives you a unique educational experience that equips you with an interdisciplinary knowledge base, a strong understanding of world issues, and well-honed critical thinking and analytical skills.

A joint degree in Forensics and Anthropology or Archaeology is an ideal path for students interested in identifying human remains or investigating grave sites. 

Interested in a career specializing in ballistics? A joint major in Physics and Forensics will help with reconstructing the trajectory of bullets at a crime scene.
