Trent Philosophy Society

The Trent Philosophy Society (or TPS as it is affectionately called) is Trent's oldest undergraduate society and is dedicated to encouraging the pursuit of philosophy in and out of the classroom.

Join us on Facebook: Trent Philosophy Society Facebook Group

Faculty Advisor: Michael Hickson

The Society's Student Coordinators for 2017-2018  TBD

The Society's Department Representatives for 2017-2018 TBD

Students, please watch your inbox for invitations to events hosted by the TPS and for opportunities to engage in philosophical discussions with your peers. Upcoming events include discussion nights, guest speakers, and a student colloquium.

Trent Philosophy Society Student Symposium

The highlight of the year for the TPS is the annual student symposium, which features the presentation of 4 to 6 undergraduate philosophy papers, followed by a reception.

Check back at the beginning of December for information and a call for papers for the 2017-2018 TPS Symposium.
