Where to Turn for Help

Get in touch with our Peterborough Campus

Not sure where your student should turn for help with a particular problem? At our Peterborough campus, the college office for their college is a great place to start. Our friendly and helpful college office staff will either help your student to resolve the problem directly or point them in the direction of someone else who can help.

Academic Advising

For help in mapping out an academic path that will allow your student to achieve their personal and academic goals.
Academic Mentoring Program (Durham Campus) The Academic Mentoring Program is a network of student volunteers who foster academic engagement by creating peer-led study groups, one-to-one mentoring, and providing strategies for academic success.
Academic Skills Centre For assistance with time management, essay writing, exam preparation and other key academic skills.

Athletics Centre Peterborough Campus

Athletics Centre Durham Campus

For information about and access to Trent’s state-of-the-art indoor and outdoor athletic facilities (indoor climbing facility, cardio loft and weight room, swimming pool, and much more). Note: All Trent students registered in courses at the Peterborough campus receive a membership to the Athletics Centre as part of their University fees.
Campus Security For information about programs and services designed to keep your student safe on campus.
Career Centre For support with career development questions and job-search skills plus access to our job board.
Colleges For information about what’s available through each of Trent’s colleges (which are mini-communities within the larger university community).
Counselling (Peterborough Counselling) (Durham Counselling) For support in dealing with stress and related issues.
Financial Aid For assistance with scholarships, bursaries, and the Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP).
Health Services (Peterborough campus) For access to primary medical care, mental health services, wellness counseling, and other health services.
Housing Office (Peterborough Housing) (Durham Housing) For assistance with on-campus and off-campus housing options.
Rebound (Peterborough campus) For access to an upper-year mentor who can provide assistance with goal setting and problem solving while helping the student to tap into other on-campus supports.
Registrar’s Office For questions or concerns about financial aid, scholarships, student records, scheduling, and course registration.
Student Accounts Office For questions regarding tuition fee payments, income tax receipts, health and dental insurance, and other related issues.
Student Accessibility Services (Peterborough SAS) (Durham SAS) For assistance with adaptive and assistive technology, academic coaching, notetaking services, test/exam accommodations and other supports for students with disability-related needs.
Student Affairs (Peterborough Student Affairs) (Durham Student Affairs) For questions or concerns about services and supports available to Trent students. This is the office that oversees student services on campus.
Trent Central Student Association
Trent Durham Student Association
The Trent Central Student Association (TCSA) and the Trent Durham Student Association (TDSA) offer a range of services and events. They are the Peterborough and Durham campus student unions that represent all undergraduate students at Trent. Their activities include a used book consignment program, a student benefits plan, and numerous social events.
