Bring your TrentU card (student ID card) OR proof of residence to sign up for a membership and receive your public library card. This event is to receive Peterborough Public Library cards - not Trent Library & Archives cards (you already have your Trent library card - it's the same as your student ID card). The main Peterborough Public Library branch is located in downtown Peterborough. We also have a Public Library Book Kiosk in the entrance to Bata (next to the vending machines), where you can use your new card to borrow a fun new read.

This session will begin with an Academic Skills instructor sharing tips and strategies for listening and taking good notes. Then, you’ll get the chance to test out some notetaking strategies during a mini lecture presented by a Trent professor!

Each class will guide you through core-based exercises that help to improve fitness and prevent injuries. Full body strength and flexibility helps to relieve pain, unlock tight muscles and joints, strengthen your core postural muscles and create a youthful feeling in the body. Dress comfortably and bring water! Participants are encouraged to work at their own pace and given modifications to keep you working at your own pace that is challenging and dynamic.

Tick Tock Tick Tock! Come down to the Bata podium to cheer on your college in one of the most intense and fun competitions on campus! The stakes are high because the winning college will get the famous Minute to Win It trophy! If you're interested, you may even get the chance to participate in one of the games and represent your college! 

Come down to Stohn Hall to watch a movie and eat some snacks! Bring your jammies and blankies and have a fun and cozy movie night. We will vote on the movie at the event.
