Fostering a Safe, Inclusive, and Respectful Community
Training Modules (Mandatory)
As part of our commitment to fostering a safe, inclusive, and respectful community, the Office of Student Affairs has partnered with the Trent Central Student Association, the Equity & Human Rights Office, and the Sexual Violence Prevention & Response Team to create two important training courses for all students participating in Orientation Week.
Trent's Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Anti-Discrimination Module (approx. 40 minutes)
Supporting Consent at Trent Training Module (approx. 60 minutes)
To take part in Orientation Week programming, you need to complete both courses. Student who have registered and completed both courses will be given a bracelet; either when you receive your residence keys or when you check-in at one of the Orientation Hubs (outside each college building).
If not completed in advance, additional information to fulfill the learning requirements and receive your Anti-Discrimination and Consent@Trent bracelets will be available throughout Orientation Week.
If you have questions or need support, reach out to orientation@trentu.ca or visit an Orientation Hub during O-Week.
