Analytical Services

Here are some of the opportunities that Trent has in relation to analytical services:

 

Water Quality Centre

The Trent Water Quality Centre (WQC) is the most comprehensive mass spectrometry facility in Canada. The Centre specializes in method development and the application of new and innovative techniques for measuring isotopes and trace amounts of organic and inorganic contaminants in water and other environmental compartments. The WQC offers analytical services and mass spectrometer training courses to researchers, government agencies and private companies.

Natural Resources DNA Profiling and Forensic Centre

The Natural Resources DNA Profiling and Forensic Centre (NRDPFC) offers services in sequencing, genotyping, extractions, quantification, PCRs, Post-PCR clean-ups, general equipment usage, cherry picking/sample selection, slave/daughter/duplicate plates and database management in relation to DNA data storage.
