Responsible for achieving Trent's research goals and objectives, the Office of Research & Innovation works with other University departments, as well as local, regional, national and international members of the research community to promote and steward research excellence. This includes ensuring diversity of research across the full range of scholarly disciplines at Trent, with an emphasis on interdisciplinary research, involving students in research, training highly qualified personnel, and upholding open, accountable research practices.
