As troubling events in the United States continue to unfold, it is unacceptable that Black people, Indigenous people, and people of colour continue to experience violence and racism.  As a university which has, from its beginnings, been committed to human rights and diversity, Trent University opposes racism everywhere and calls on its community to listen to, and support, those who suffer such injustice.
