In this session, David Newland shares insights gained from 35 years of experience as an event and expedition host. Learn how holding space, and calling attention to the moment, brings out the best of the audience, presenters, and even theme!
Presenter:
David Newland is a writer, musician, and scholar, currently working on a PhD in Canadian Studies at Trent University. David's background includes photography, journalism, and broadcasting. Since 2013 he has worked as an expedition host and Zodiac driver aboard educational small-ship cruises to the High Arctic and North Atlantic with Adventure Canada.
