Committees & Terms of Reference

The Academic Planning & Policy Committee (AP&P) supports Senate in advancing academic planning, policy, program development and the overall quality of Trent’s academic environment.

The Committee on Academic Personnel advises on key academic personnel matters, including reappointment, tenure, promotion, merit, sabbaticals and Professor Emeritus recommendations.

The Cyclical Program Review Committee oversees the regular review of Trent’s academic programs to support quality assurance, continuous improvement and accountability.

Faculty Board supports academic governance by reviewing academic policies and programming proposals, advising University leadership, and considering key issues affecting faculty and academic planning.

The Undergraduate Studies Committee oversees undergraduate curriculum and program changes, and advises on the academic requirements and curriculum of proposed new undergraduate programs.
