Crawford House offers a welcoming residence experience at Traill College, combining the comfort of a close-knit community with the convenience of downtown living. Just a short (free) bus ride from Symons Campus, residence at Traill offers fully furnished accommodations, on-site dining, residence life programming, and access to downtown Peterborough’s best cafes, restaurants, parks, and local shops.

Your room comes fully furnished, so you feel at home from day one. Every room includes:

Residence is more than where you sleep. Crawford House and Traill College offer  inviting spaces where you can study, relax, and spend time with friends .

In residence, you’ll enjoy:

Washrooms

Washrooms are shared and include gender-inclusive washroom options – all part of our  inclusive and welcoming residence community at Trent.

Dining

Living at Traill means you’ll have access to convenient on-site dining while also being surrounded by downtown Peterborough’s best local cafes and restaurants.

Students living in Crawford House participate in the traditional dining plan, making it easy to grab breakfast on campus before class, enjoy lunch with friends, or unwind over dinner.

Food Services offers:

  • A traditional dining plan  
  • Offers daily meals, snacks, and a welcoming space to connect with friends
  • Food Services accommodates a range of dietary needs, including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, halal and other specialized diet
  • Community meals and special dining events take place throughout the year
