Orientation and onboarding are a key part of your preparation for graduate level study. Trent University offers virtual and in-person information sessions to help you transitions smoothly into your studies. These events are also a great opportunity to connect with your new peers from Canada and around the world.

New Graduate Student Onboarding 

All new graduate students are invited to join us for orientation during the first week of your term. Fall orientation takes place in-person. Winter and Spring orientation are hosted virtually.

International Student Pre-Arrival Welcome Session

All international graduate students are required to attend a mandatory virtual pre-arrival welcome session hosted by Trent International.

Program-Specific Onboarding

Many of our graduate programs offer program-specific orientation events prior to the start of the new term. Watch your Trent email for communications directly from your program about any program specific events.
