Next Steps as a Graduate Student
A Warm Welcome to Trent's School of Graduate Studies. We suggest that you review the following information before arriving on campus.
New Student Orientation Events - Join us this September!
Acceptance Deposit
Students accepted into Trent’s professional graduate programs are required to pay a $2,500.00 CDN deposit ($500 is non-refundable after the first day of term) upon acceptance of an offer of admission. The deposit will remain on the student's account and used towards tuition fees upon registration. Information about this requirement can be found in your offer of admission. Students accepted into our research based programs are not required to pay an advanced deposit. Please refer to your letter of offer to confirm the necessity and the amount of the deposit required to secure your offer.
Please make acceptance deposit payments through myTrent > Finance Tab > Grad Acceptance Payment
Review Outstanding Documents
Some of our Graduate students may have an offer of admission that is conditional. If your offer of admission is conditional, this means that we may need some more information from you prior to your arrival, (e.g. final transcript). Please submit the requested documents to us as soon as possible. If we do not receive these documents by the noted date, The School of Graduate Studies may revoke the offer of admission.
Students are encouraged to review their original offer letter for any conditions on their admission to The School of Graduate Studies. Students can also direct their questions to the Graduate Admissions Officer to ensure they meet their conditions prior to arriving to Trent.
