Call for Nominations
Eminent Service Awards 2026
Deadline: Monday, February 23, 2026 at 4:00 p.m.
The University Honours Subcommittee is seeking nominations for Eminent Service Awards to be given at the Heart of Trent event. The Eminent Service Award honours Trent staff, faculty or volunteers who have made outstanding contributions to the life of the University. These awards are granted to individuals in their final academic year of employment/service, or the academic year immediately following their retirement or departure.
The deadline for Eminent Service Award nominations is Monday, February 23, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. Please see the Eminent Service Award Policy, and the list of previous recipients, which can be found on the Honorary Degree Recipients and Eminent Service Award Recipients page, for more information.
The Secretary of the University Honours Subcommittee will receive nominations in confidence at tharrington@trentu.ca and richellehall@trentu.ca. Please include biographical information and a rationale detailing why Trent should honour the individual.
