Christine Salo is a Trent University alumni having received a B.B.A (Honours) in 2000.
She has been an employee of Trent since 2008 and currently holds the position of Manager of Administration & Sustainability in the Facilities Management Department. In her role she oversees a small team responsible for the administration of Facilities Management (the fixit maintenance dispatch system, capital and operational financial tracking and analysis, utilities, records, etc.) as well as the sustainability efforts of the university (energy conservation, waste diversion, legislative requirements, student outreach, etc.).
Ms. Salo currently serves on several University committees including the Exempt Job Evaluation Committee (since 2010), the Environmental Advisory Board (since 2014), the Nature Areas Committee (since 2014), and Canada’s Top 100 Employer Committee (2016).
For the past four years she has also been involved as a Trent representative on the Ontario Association of Physical Plant Administrators (OAPPA) Energy sub-committee.
Ms. Salo’s two-year term on the Trent University Board of Governors began July 1, 2017.
