Andrew Stewart is the VP of Human Resources for Compugen, one of Canada’s largest IT solutions providers. He has formerly held senior leadership roles at Compugen in Marketing and Corporate Services.
Andrew participates as a member of a number of global advisory boards for technology leaders including Microsoft. He is an MBA graduate from the University of Toronto and has also pursued doctoral studies in education at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education at the University of Toronto.
A Graduate of the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, Mr. Stewart has a keen interest in music.
He is an active contributor to the Dublin based Innovation Value Institute (IVI) which brings together participants from industry and academe focused on the business value of technology. Prior to joining Compugen, Mr. Stewart was Director of Executive Programs at the Rotman School of Management of the University of Toronto.
For nearly ten years Mr. Stewart served on the Boards of Directors of Frontier College and the Frontier College Foundation. He formerly served on the advisory board for the Business School at Humber College. He is a member of the Board of Directors of Healthcomms, an early stage healthcare technology company. Mr. Stewart served as an external member to Trent’s Finance & Property Committee in 2011-12.
Mr. Stewart was recently reappointed for an additional three-year term on the Board of Governors which started on July 1, 2015
