Indigenous Diplomas

Foundations of Indigenous Learning Diploma Programs 

  • Are you a First Nations, Inuit, or Métis person interested in the transition to university studies? 
  • Have you been out of school for a while, or just recently graduated from high school or college? 
  • Do you have the potential for university studies, but do not meet the traditional entrance requirements? 
  • Would you like to start your university with a supported cohort of Indigenous students?

How to Apply:

Application to Diploma programs can be made in one of the following ways:

Indigenous students seeking admission to the Diploma Program should direct their inquiries to First Peoples House of Learning's Indigenous Enrolment Advisor:

fphlenrolment@trentu.ca

All Diploma Program Applicants must schedule an intake meeting with FPHL's Enrolment Advisor. 

Notes:

Upon successful completion of a Diploma program, students may apply for admission to a B.A. or B.Sc. program. All credits earned in the Diploma program are transferable to degree programs. 

Only students enrolled in the Diploma program may obtain the Diploma.
