GOOSE International Youth Camp

Trent ESL proudly presents GOOSE International Youth Camp to teenagers worldwide who would like to experience authentic Canadian culture.

About The Program

Embark on a summer adventure in Canada and create lifelong memories learning English, experiencing Canadian culture first hand, and exploring all that summer in Ontario has to offer. Join us at GOOSE!

We offer more than English … we provide a unique and energetic summer experience full of fun, friendship and adventure – all in one of the most highly-rated countries in the world. Exploring Canada’s Wonderland, feeling the spray of Niagara Falls, or discovering the earliest works in human history - campers will spend one of their most unforgettable summers with us.

CHOOSE ONE FROM 4 PROGRAM OPTIONS!

IMMERSE IN LANGUAGE: ESL OPTION

If improving English is the goal for the summer, our GOOSE English program offers the highest standard of English language training with the Trent ESL program, an accredited member of Languages Canada since 2007. Outstanding teaching with our trained camp staff, as well as fun learning experiences in our intensive immersion program results in the greatest learning outcomes. No minimum English proficiency is required.

IMMERSE IN SELF-DISCOVERY: UBOUND OPTION

Our UBound program is the perfect way to explore your interests and strengths to see what the future may hold for you; the potential is boundless! Campers in the U-bound stream will spend half of their days (Monday to Friday) exploring their competencies and capabilities by engaging with various programs at Trent through an experiential learning process. They will experience workshops, clinics, and activities related to a range of professional and academic pursuits, in a way that will help them identify their interests for future study in university or college. Examples of the topics include business, leadership and management, environmental sciences, forensic science, computer coding, writing and communications, robotics, health care, and more. Suggested English Proficiency: IELTS 5.5 or above

IMMERSE IN MATH: EARN AN OSSD CREDIT

Through our unique partnership with Blyth Academy, students can combine high school coursework with a Canadian camp experience and complete an Ontario Secondary School credit, simultaneously. Each day, the schedule balances classroom sessions with activity sessions and evening programs to provide a robust program. The classes are taught by a qualified and experienced teacher, using modern university classrooms.

IMMERSE IN LEADERSHIP: THE INTERNATIONAL LEADERSHIP MINDSET OPTION (iLM)

The international Leadership Mindset (iLM) program is a stream of the GOOSE camp offerings, focused on cultivating leadership thinking and competencies in youth in a positive and constructive manner. Today’s world requires differentiated leadership: thinking and acting with a responsible and strategic approach to change, progress, and vision for a global future. The iLM is designed for experiential learning and leadership development for the leaders of tomorrow.

The program is designed to lead participants through the mindsets with an eye to their leadership, emotional intelligence, sense of community, and more. Suggested English Proficiency: IELTS 5.5 or above

Trent’s GOOSE camp is more than just fun. We aim to develop important skills including decision-making, problem solving, independence, teamwork, responsibility, and interpersonal skills. At GOOSE, we work hard to ensure that each camper has the opportunity to learn, grow and play each day. Check our sample schedule at our 2026 brochure:
