Student Life Winter Retreat

Camp Mini-Yo-We, Port Sydney
The Winter Retreat is an exciting opportunity for students to spend a weekend in the wilderness to experience nature and adventure while enjoying their stay at a camp in the beautiful area of Haliburton Highlands, just south of Algonquin Park. This trip is designed for those who are seeking out an opportunity to go on a weekend trip with other students to hang out, make friends, and join in on some fun activities.
This year's weekend, hosted at Camp Mini-Yo-We Outdoor Centre, offers a wide range of activities and experiences that students can participate in including campfires, nature hikes, ice skating, broomball, snow tubing, ropes courses, rock climbing, tobogganing, and so much more. There will be an equal number of activities both indoors and outdoors to utilize all of the camp's resources and students will also have time to themselves to relax and enjoy the weekend away.
This adventure includes transportation from TrentU Durham GTA Campus to the camp and back, all meals during our stay, and accommodations in heated cabins within the camp.
The fee for the retreat is $180.00 for current students.

TrentU Durham GTA Ottawa Trip
Winter Reading Break
February 21st to 23rd, 2024
Want to go on a 3-day Ottawa trip in February with TrentU Durham GTA?
We are excited to work with Brightspark to offer a student trip to the nation’s capital during our Winter Reading break. This 3-day/2-night trip will be packed with activities and entertainment, while also offering time for you and your friends to explore the city.
There are many things included in the trip:

- On Board Tour Guide
- Tour of the Parliament Building
- Ottawa Senator's hockey game
- Museum's, Byward Market, Rideau Centre
- 2 Nights at a Hotel
- Much more!

The trip costs $585 per person and includes everything listed above. **Please note that the trip cost is subject to a participant count of 40 people, and increases if there are less participants attending. The trip does not include the cost of lunches (3) and dinners (2).*
To confirm registration, you will need to pay a $100 deposit by October 13th.
