Further Resources

Overview

This degree is specifically designed for students wishing to pursue a professional career in analytics, connected to the finance sector. This is actually a very broad field, ranging from actuarial science, insurance, banking, commodities, investments, and beyond, with the analytics skills being transferrable even further.  The curriculum draws from five supporting disciplines: applied mathematics, statistics, economics, business, and computing, with the last integrated throughout rather than being an explicit contributor through dedicated courses. Students’ understanding and growth will be stimulated by constant exposure to competing viewpoints and perspectives, with the same models being explored from statistical, mathematical, economic and business points-of-view
