Kinesiology B.Sc.Kin

Kinesiology is the scientific study of human movement with a focus on prevention of injury and chronic disease.

Students gain the knowledge and skills to become a kinesiology practitioner, able to prescribe individualized exercise programs to improve or maintain the health, functional capacity, and well-being of a range of healthy and clinical populations. Students in this program will have the opportunity to pursue placement opportunities in their fourth year of study. Kinesiology is a regulated health profession in Ontario; this degree provides the skills and knowledge to function as a health professional and write the competency exam to become a registered kinesiologist (R.Kin.).

Dr. Ingrid Brenner is the Program Coordinator for the Bachelor of Science, Honours in Kinesiology program.

For more information, please contact kinesiology@trentu.ca.

Take a look at the Undergraduate Academic Calendar for details about this program, and look at the Trent Kinesiology website.
