COURSE DESCRIPTION

Teaching and learning through E-Learning is an introduction and opportunity for educators to explore, discuss, investigate and dig deeper into online teaching and learning as it relates to teaching and learning that are enabled electronically in virtual, hybrid, and in-person learning environments.

Educators will navigate the course with an accessibility and inclusivity lens while becoming familiar with educational technology tools. Participants will learn how to become co-learners alongside their students through curriculum knowledge, pedagogical strategies, and the virtual learning environment. Educators will plan inclusive programming for students of different abilities, needs, experiences and interests.

PREREQUISITES

(as required by OCT)

• OCT Member in Good Standing or OCT applicant if new Ontario BEd graduate (Read more)
   
• Your teacher education program coursework and practicum must be successfully completed before registration
