Are you a member of good standing with OCT?
- If you received your BEd or teacher education qualification in Ontario and are waiting for your membership to be processed, you are eligible to register provided you are a member of good standing at completion of the course.
- If you received your BEd or teacher education qualification outside of Ontario, you MUST be an OCT member in good standing before registering for an AQ course.
- New Ontario BEd graduates are eligible to register for spring and/or summer courses once they have completed their program (all course work and practicum components) and have applied to become members with the Ontario College of Teachers. Your actual graduation date is not relevant.
Important to Note - for new Ontario graduates
If you are not a member of good standing by the end of your AQ course, we will hold on to your course information and send it to OCT when you are a member of good standing. OCT is taking longer than normal to process memberships and we have taken this into consideration. Once your certification status has been updated, please send us an email at AQ@trentu.ca. We will review your file and send the appropriate information to OCT.
