Entry Tests

We have free online entry tests for:

  • Intermediate Division Math ABQ
  • French as a Second Language Part 1

You must successfully pass your test before registering ...

  1. Request the Math or French test by emailing AQ@trentu.ca with your OCT # 
  2. Tests are free and online
  3. Test results don't expire - save your results and email in when you register
  4. After receiving the test link, you can complete the test at anytime
  5. Additional information about the test is sent to you when you request the test link
  6. We do not offer practise tests

Intermediate Math Test French Part 1 Test
  • for teachers who want to take Intermediate Math and don't have required university math credits
  • receive results as soon as you complete test
  • can only be written once
  • test is based on the Grades 9 and 10 curriculum
  • we don't offer a practise test
  • for teachers who want to take FSL Part 1 and have no documentation confirming French proficiency
  • includes a written & oral test
  • complete written test 1 week before registration closes in order to leave time for the oral portion of the test (only those who pass the written test are offered the oral test)
  • if you aren't successful in passing the French test, you can request the test a second time after 2 months has passed
