Peterborough is currently experiencing a power outage that has affected Blackburn Hall on the Symons Campus.
Other areas of the University remain unaffected and classes on the Symons Campus are continuing as scheduled.
Employees at Blackburn Hall are encouraged to check in with their supervisors regarding next steps.

To Report An Emergency
Dial 9-911 from a safe location on any campus telephone and then call Campus Security at 705-748-1333 (Peterborough), 905-435-5111 (Oshawa).
In Peterborough, you can also use the yellow emergency telephones to give Campus Security all the pertinent facts.
Inclement Weather Procedures
During most winter weather, the campus remains open and activities remain unaffected.
To keep the Trent community informed and up-to-date on significant weather events, the University will post notifications at trentu.ca, with full details at trentu.ca/advisory. Notifications will also be posted to the MyTrent portal, the Info Trent line at 705-748-1234 and shared on the University’s Facebook and Twitter @trentuniversity accounts.

Winter weather during exams
During exam periods, when inclement weather hits or is expected, every effort is made to keep the University open and exams running as scheduled, bearing in mind the health and safety of our students and staff.
In the event of inclement weather, students should look for an update on the University's operations and exam schedule at trentu.ca two hours prior to the start of each exam:
6:00 a.m. update for 8:00 a.m. exams
9:00 a.m. update for 11:00 a.m. exams
1:00 p.m update for 3:00 p.m. exams
5:00 p.m. update for 7:00 p.m. exams
