Hard-copy requirements; Tests & Exams

We require one paper copy per student booked to write with the CAT/Exam Centre. We also require scantron sheets if your test/exam is using them.

Hard-copies must be delivered to the CAT/Exam Centre 48 hours (2 days) before the scheduled date of the test/exam.

Exams may be dropped off:
In person at The Centre for Academic Testing (CAT); located in Otonabee College, Room 211. There is also a locked drop box just outside the entrance to OC 211 for after-hours drop-off.
Via internal mail addressed to the Centre for Academic Testing (CAT), or arranged to be sent directly from the Print Shop. When requesting scantrons and tests from the Print Shop, please indicate in the Print Shop order "Special requirements" comment box, the following directive: "Please send [number of tests, number of scantrons] to the Centre for Academic Testing (CAT), OC 211".

Electronic copies of tests & exams:
Must be securely uploaded through the SAS Faculty Portal. Microsoft Word documents are the preferred electronic format as they allow us to manipulate font size & document formatting should it be necessary to meet a student's accommodation-related need.

There is a step-by-step guide available on how to upload tests and exams available for reference.
