In this summer iteration of Tea & Teachings, facilitators will explore Traditional Ecological Knowledges (TEK) and land-based pedagogies, with a focus on how these approaches can inform and transform teaching and learning. The session will explore considerations for respectfully incorporating land as a teacher, and include Indigenous reflections on modern environmental issues. Facilitators will guide part of the conversation in a sharing circle format, and will also discuss how sharing circles can be used effectively and meaningfully in educational settings to support land-connected learning.
Date: August 29th, 1:30 - 3 PM
