 Lisa Fedoruk 

Dr. Lisa Fedoruk is an experienced educator with a demonstrated history of teaching and educational development in primary, secondary, tertiary, and industry contexts.  She earned her Bachelor's degree in Education from the University of Alberta, as well as her Master's degree in Adult Learning and PhD in Educational Research from the University of Calgary.  Dr. Fedoruk has been a consultant, developer and instructor of SoTL programming and grants at the Taylor Institute for Teaching and Learning.  She is a member of the Conjoint Faculties Research Ethics Board at the University of Calgary and is currently co-developing the Master's of Precision Health degree at the Cumming School of Medicine, University of Calgary.

Melanie Hamilton 

Melanie Hamilton EdD, is the Director of the Centre for the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) at the University of Saskatchewan. Dr. Hamilton was awarded an ISSoTL Fellowship in 2020. She is currently President-Elect for ISSoTL Board of Directors. Dr. Hamilton has presented extensively both nationally and internationally on a variety of SoTL topics. Her research includes: SoTL and academic integrity, mid-career faculty and early career researchers, and SoTL Leadership. She is a registered nurse by discipline and taught in the higher education classroom and clinical setting for over 20 years before transitioning into SoTL programming and development. Dr. Hamilton currently teaches in the Graduate Certificate and Masters of SoTL program.

Trent Hergenrader

Dr. Trent Hergenrader is an Associate Professor in the Department of English at the Rochester Institute of Technology, where he teaches classes on fiction writing, worldbuilding, and transmedia storytelling. His research resides at the intersection of creative writing studies, digital writing, and games and game-based learning. He is the author of Collaborative Worldbuilding for Writers and Gamers, co-editor of the collections Creative Writing in the Digital Age and Creative Writing Innovations and is currently finishing a co-authored book tentatively titled The Worldbuilding Workshop: Teaching Critical Thinking through World Modeling, Simulation, and Play to be published by MIT Press.

David W. Concepción

David W. Concepción is Professor of Philosophy at Ball State university where he teaches feminist ethics, environmental ethics, and first year seminars. To promote undergraduate research, he is managing editor of Stance: An International Undergraduate Philosophy Journal. National recognitions include the American Philosophical Association’s (APA) Prize for Excellence and Innovation in Philosophy Programs, the American Association of Philosophy Teachers (AAPT) Award of Merit, and the Lenssen Prize for research on teaching and learning. He is a faculty developer, past president of the AAPT, past chair of the APA Committee on Teaching, and Editor-in-chief of AAPT Studies In Pedagogy. A recipient of Ball State’s Diversity Advocate award, his current research is focused on inclusive pedagogy.

Iehnhotonkws Bonnie Jane Maracle

Iehnhotonkws Bonnie Jane Maracle is from the Wolf Clan of the Mohawk Nation, Tyendinaga Territory, Ont. She holds a B.A. in Indigenous Studies, Trent U and a B.Ed. & M.Ed., Queen’s U. Bonnie Jane is a member of the Board of Directors for Tsi Tsyonnheht Onkwawenna Language & Culture Centre (TTO) at Tyendinaga; and is a Board member and Language Program Coordinator at Kanatsiohareke Mohawk Community. She is also the CGO of Ontario Native Literacy Coalition at Ohsweken, Grand River. Bonnie Jane has been a Sessional Instructor at U of Victoria for the past 20 years. At present, having retired from full-time employment as the Indigenous Learning Strategist in Student Life at U of Toronto, she is now the Traditional Teacher in Residence at First Nations House.
