You’ll learn the methodology and tools required to analyze complex economic issues such as unemployment, inflation, economic growth, and market regulation. Trent’s Indigenous Studies B.A. incorporates both Indigenous Traditional Knowledge and Euro-centric Knowledge Systems to immerse students in a multicultural and multidisciplinary exploration of historical and contemporary challenges shaping relations between Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities. 

Archaeology

As a Trent Archaeology student, you’ll get hands-on experience, learning field methods and lab techniques used to examine physical evidence, and exploring theories and approaches used by experts to understand ancient cultures and past civilizations.

Global Development Studies

Global Development Studies (GDST) at Trent equips students with the tools to understand and analyze societal transformation. 

With a curriculum built from 10 academic departments, GDST explores wide-ranging themes, such as poverty, conflict, the environment, and gender. Learn from anthropologists, political scientists, economists, and other experts in courses that integrate theory and practical learning and emphasize critical thinking and social justice. 

French Studies
