Step confidently into your first semester with Fall Forward, an orientation session hosted by Academic & Career Advising. Learn how to navigate your academic path, explore career possibilities, and connect with the resources designed to support your success—both in and beyond the classroom.

Join us for a catered brunch where you'll have the opportunity to meet with fellow first year students and Trent Durham staff/faculty. We'll begin as one large group and then move into separate spaces based on the following:  

- 2SLGBTQIA+ Affinity Group 

- African/Caribbean/Black-identifying Student Affinity Group 

- Mature & Transfer Student Affinity Group 

- Muslim Affinity Group

- Neurodivergent students, allies and supporters

Prepare to have a wild amount of fun! Engage in the chaos of throwing colour powder at your peers. Come ready with an old t-shirt to change into, leave looking like you wrestled a rainbow! 

Engage in a variety of games on teams to see who will be the winners of the Campus Cup! We'll have expert athletes from ParaSport Ontario engaging us to move in different ways and try out new sports!  

Enjoy a catered lunch! We will have halal, vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free food options. Have other dietary restrictions or allergies? Make sure to register for orientation before Sept 1, so that we can ensure that our catering has a meal prepared for you!

Lights, Camera, Action! Don't miss out on this fabulous and unforgettable show! Unita Assk will share important tips about consent and boundaries, while dazzling us with her performance! Participants who attend will receive a ticket to shop for school supplies and trent swag at our Pop-up Free Store.
