*Brave Space #9
Student Accessibility Services (SAS) is a team of professionals who provide support to students with disabilities through one-on-one advising, referrals to campus supports, and adaptive technology. In this session we can explain how to get started with SAS, what an accommodation plan looks like for University, how you access accommodations through my Trent and through the Trent Centre for Academic Testing. You'll have opportunity to ask questions and get to explore ways in which you can support students/friends who may want to connect to SAS during the year.
*Brave Space #3
Do you identify as a Black student or an ally? If so, your transition to university may come with some unique challenges. Join Black Student Support Group, the Trent Association of Black Students, and our BIPOC counselor, Cayo Whyte, for this online session to learn about relevant campus supports and how you can support your BIPOC friends while meeting other new students who share this part of your identity. Come with a friend or make a new one here!
