Undergraduate students are invited to join us for a three-hour interactive workshop focused on skill identification and articulation, resumes, cover letters, job search strategies, interview preparation, and professionalism. In this workshop, students will participate in practical activities to build confidence and competence in each content area. 

By completing this workshop, students will learn how to:  

  • Identify and articulate their unique skills  

  • Create tailored resumes and cover letters for job applications  

  • Implement different job search strategies  

  • Prepare for a job interview  

  • Navigate professional conduct, communication and behaviours in the workplace  

This workshop is part one of the Career Skills Development Micro-Credential for undergraduate students. For more information, check out our website: https://www.trentu.ca/durham/supports-services/career-services Students not completing the micro-credential are welcome to attend. 

Kindly note that the workshop requires a minimum of six participants to proceed and may be cancelled if this number is not met.
