This webinar explores Ubuntu leadership as an ethical and relational framework for healing moral injury and burnout among frontline healthcare workers after the COVID-19 pandemic. Drawing on a narrative synthesis of scholarly research on Ubuntu philosophy, ethics of care, and healthcare leadership, this session will explore how relational leadership principles can strengthen psychological safety, rebuild trust, and support ethical renewal within healthcare organizations.
Presenter:
Samuel Oluwatosin Ajibade is a graduate scholar at Trent University, pursuing a Master of Management in the Health Care Management Stream. With over twelve years of professional experience as a Sales Regional Manager at United Nigeria Textiles Limited, Samuel brings a wealth of leadership, organizational, and strategic management expertise to his academic and research pursuits. His research focuses on Ubuntu leadership, ethics of care, and mental health resilience within post-pandemic healthcare systems, exploring compassionate and inclusive models of leadership in organizational transformation. Passionate about fostering human-centered management practices, Samuel integrates both academic theory and real-world leadership experience in his teaching, mentoring, and presentations. His work emphasizes collaboration, empathy, and ethical decision-making as the foundation for sustainable leadership in today’s dynamic environments.
