Embrace the beauty of winter, self-expression, and the richness of Black culture at this vibrant, hands-on celebration! Join us for an afternoon filled with creativity, cultural connection, and warm community vibes.

​This event is all about celebrating Black History, individuality, and togetherness. Whether you’re posing for photos, crafting, or sipping chai, there’s something for everyone!


Event Highlights

​✨ Winter Wonderland Photo Booth: Black History Month Edition

  • ​Bring your cultural attire or dress boldly to show your self-expression!

  • ​Photos will be shared electronically 1-2 weeks after the event.

​🎨 Canvas Painting: Express Yourself

  • ​Paint a flag, cultural symbol, or something that represents your identity.

  • ​Supplies provided: small canvases, paints, and brushes.

​🧶 Chai & Crochet Corner

  • ​Sip on warm chai, hot chocolate, or fruit juice while learning to crochet.

  • ​Use vibrant yarns inspired by Black Diaspora cultures to craft your own winter accessories like beanies or scarves.

  • ​Enjoy delicious snacks, including chicken samosas, beef patties, veggie spring rolls, and more!

​📝 Cultural Inspiration Wall

  • ​Write or draw tributes to inspiring Black figures in history, art, or your own life.
