Dear Staff and Faculty,

Recently, Microsoft has been updating the Home Use Program and has moved all customers to a subscription based model. This program offers discounts on the latest and most up to date products, such as Office 365, to eligible staff and faculty at Trent University.

Staff and faculty may purchase Office 365 Home (up to 6 users) or Office 365 Personal (1 user) for 30% off, paid annually. Visio Professional 2019 and Project Professional 2019 are also available for purchase at a significantly discounted price.

In order to take advantage of this program, you will need an active Trent staff/faculty email address, a personal Microsoft account, and a valid form of payment. Microsoft Office subscriptions purchased through the Home Use Program can continue to be used at the discounted price should you no longer be employed by Trent.

Staff and faculty can still install Microsoft Office for FREE through the Microsoft Staff Advantage program while actively employed at Trent. However, please note that Microsoft Office installed through the free Microsoft Staff Advantage program cannot continue to be used should you no longer be employed by Trent.

Microsoft Office 365	For use on Trent owned and business machines.	Work purpose computers Installation on Mac devices owned by the University.	Automatic login to SharePoint/OneDrive Subject to Trent security policies and automated safeguards Deactivated as soon as you leave Trent.
