Entrepreneurs, authors, artists, and makers are all featured on Trent University’s 2025 Alumni Gift Guide, a collection showcasing the ambition, creativity, and business acumen shaped through Trent’s learning environment and and strengthened within our alumni community.

“Alumni from across Trent’s diverse programs have gone on to launch businesses and create opportunities that strengthen our communities,” says Naomi Handley, director of Alumni Engagement & Services at Trent University. “Their entrepreneurial success reflects the ambition, critical thinking, and adaptability fostered during their time at Trent - skills that continue to drive innovation and impact well beyond campus.”

From small-batch artisans and indie publishers to eco-conscious creators and bold business owners, Trent alumni are building remarkable ventures. Featured alumni in this year’s Gift Guide include:

  • Ribat Chowdhury ’11 (Lady Eaton College) from The Happy Box
  • Heather Sauer ’95 (Peter Robinson College) from The Paper Place
  • Jocelyn MacGregor ’01 (Traill College) from Mighty Pines Cocktail Co.
  • Aaron Black ’09 (Gzowski College) from Cheeks Ahoy
