“We’re thrilled to welcome community members to another year of the Continuing Education program at Trent,” said Dr. Michael Eamon, director of Continuing Education at Trent and principal of Catharine Parr Traill College. “Continuing Education is a great opportunity to share the gift of learning with friends and family and explore over 30 interactive workshops and multi-week course options that will delve into topics including Arts, Writing, Finance, and Food.”

The new, longer term will take place from February to May 2024. To celebrate the upcoming holiday season, Trent University Continuing Education is offering a special 50% discount when you register for courses and workshops before December 31.

Register today to immerse yourself in new experiences

Registration is now open for all multi-week courses and workshops starting as early as February 6 and running through to late May. There are several course offerings this winter that span a variety of topics and interests including self-care, photography, watercolour landscapes and beekeeping. Participants can also broaden their horizons by indulging in rich cultural explorations of both Italy and Egyptian society through arts, cuisine, and history. All courses (except online offerings) are held in person at Catharine Parr Traill College, Trent’s picturesque downtown location.

In addition to multi-week courses, a variety of workshops facilitated by members of the community will provide learners with the opportunity to get creative in the kitchen with The Trend’s Chef Christopher, improve on self-regulation and financial habits, and explore big ideas like market research and feminist concepts.

Registration for all courses and workshops is available online. Until December 31, all prices listed include the 50% discount. Learn more about Continuing Education at Trent.
