three people pose holding word bubble signs that say Welcome to Trent, I love Trent, and Your path to Trent.

Future students, families, and friends are invited to Spring Open House at Trent University Durham Greater Toronto Area (GTA) on Saturday, March 7 to tour campus and residence, connect with faculty, staff and students about academic programs, and learn more about supports and services, including scholarships and guaranteed career experience.

"Students are looking at all of the elements of their education, beyond just their academic program,” says Dr. Scott Henderson, vice-president and head of Trent Durham GTA. “At Trent Durham, we know that students and their families and supporters are asking a lot of questions about scholarships, residence, career opportunities and campus life, so our event highlights all of these features. Having conversations with members of our community at Open House gives guests a solid outlook of what learning looks like at Trent Durham and all of the resources available to help them succeed here."

Top Scholarships in Ontario
At Spring Open House, guests are encouraged to speak to financial aid and admissions staff about scholarship opportunities at the Academic & Services Fair. Trent has been among the top five undergrad universities in Canada for scholarships for 25 years. The University offers enhanced scholarships, including full first-year tuition for students entering with 95%+, guaranteed entrance scholarships for 80%+, and prestigious scholarships, worth up to $30,000 over four years for domestic students. Trent's guaranteed, renewable entrance scholarship program is one of the strongest in Ontario: any student who meets the entrance or renewal criteria is automatically awarded a scholarship.

Spring Open House Benefits
Attending Open House unlocks other benefits for students and supporters. By joining a campus tour, including a tour of the student residence at Trent Durham, guests will be entered to win free residence and a dining plan for a year.
