Kassidy Roberts #FacesofTrentU: Trent’s Close-Knit Community Leads to Endless Opportunity

“I decided to come to Trent University because the campus itself is so pretty. Everybody I heard talk about Trent loved it, and the school community makes it easy to talk to professors which is something I really appreciate in my fourth year. I've gotten really close with my professors this year, and it lets me get more involved in my research and learn more about my field.”

Kassidy Roberts, fourth-year Biology & Psychology student

When she’s not studying in the lab, Ms. Roberts likes to get involved on campus by playing intramural volleyball, attending school events like the annual Head of the Trent Regatta, or simply sitting on the library steps along the river to relax and take in the view of campus.

Majoring in Biology and Psychology, Ms. Roberts is currently writing her thesis on memory consolidation in regards to the ability to be disrupted by seizures. Ms. Roberts says she is taking full advantage of the hands-on experience and cutting edge research technologies that Trent has to offer.
