Students Raise $3,600 to support Chemong Public School’s Well Project in Kenya

Queen’s-Trent Concurrent Ed Students Sup Students in the Queen’s-Trent Concurrent Education Program have raised $3,600 to assist Chemong Public School in their efforts to collect funds to support the cost of building a well in Kenya.

To help raise funds, the students organized a fundraising gala on February 27. The gala included a five course gourmet meal and dance with music by the L’il Big Band. A silent auction was also held, showcasing baskets and coupons from caring individuals and various surrounding businesses.

The Queen’s-Trent Concurrent Education Program presented a cheque in the amount of $3,600 to Chemong Public School on March 26.
