Headshot of Paul KnightPaul Knight is the founder of the Altavista Advisors ULC, and a former investment banker and lawyer. Paul was most recently the Vice-Chairman of Barclay’s Investment Bank, holding that position for over 11 years. Prior to this, he was with UBS for 19 years holding several titles including Managing Director, CEO UBS Securities Canada Inc. and Vice Chairman. Paul lived and in London, New York, Tokyo and Toronto. Paul has over 35 years of global investment experience. 

Paul previously attended Trent University. He also holds an LLB from Queens University, and an LLM from the University of Cambridge. 

Following a one-year appointment as an external committee member on the Audit & Investment Committee, Paul has been appointed to the Board of Governors for a three-year term, effective July 1, 2026.
