Pattie Lovett-Reid

As a recipient of the Canada's Most Powerful Woman: Top 100 Award in the Trailblazers and Trendsetters category, Pattie Lovett-Reid has become a household name for financial sustainability and success. Previously serving as the Chief Financial Commentator for CTV News for 10 years, Pattie now acts as the Chief Financial Commentator for HomeEquity Bank. 

As a certified financial planner and advocate for accessibility and knowledge in personal finance, Pattie promotes continuous learning by offering webinars, a financial advice blog, and as a featured speaker with Spotlight Speakers. She has co-authored several best-selling books and has been recognized with numerous prestigious honours, including the Donald J. Johnston Award and the Financial Planning Canada Fellow of Distinction, which celebrated her lasting impact on financial literacy across the country. Ms. Lovett-Reid has received an Honourary Degree in Applied Studies, Finance, from Humber College, and an Honourary Diploma in Business and Management from Canadore College.

Ms. Lovett-Reid has been appointed for a three-year term with the Board of Governors effective July 1, 2025.
